ACIC Elects Board of Directors

New officers for the Association of California Insurance Companies (ACIC) were unanimously elected at the property and casualty insurance group’s recent annual meeting. Fred C. Bosse, vice president, state legislative affairs, for USAA Insurance Co., was re-elected chairman and Barry Carmody was re-elected president. Carmody has been ACIC president since 1995. Both men are members of the association’s executive committee.

Other executive committee members elected include: Vice Chair James Clary, president and CEO of NAICC; Secretary/Treasurer Andrea Covell, vice president and legislative counsel of Geico; Member-at-Large Paul Rodliff, senior vice president, pacific division manager, of Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.; Member-at-Large Ronald Field, executive vice president, workers’ comp claims, of Golden Eagle Insurance Corp., and Member-at-Large Manny Puebla, president of the Doctor’s Company.

In addition to the executive committee, other elected officers include: Personal Lines Committee Chair Chris Gennock, regional underwriting and production manager for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.; Law and Regulation Committee Chair Beverly Clark, assistant vice president and assistant general counsel for California Casualty Group; Workers’ Comp Committee Chair David Mitchell, senior vice president of Republic Indemnity Co.; and Membership Committee Chair Anthony J. Anastanio, senior vice president of GeneralCologne Re.
