Sherwood Insurance Services formed an alliance with TruSecure Corporation to provide both Sherwood’s e-insurance solution and TruSecure’s Internet security assurance solutions to brokers and insureds.
The partnership will combine the benefits of e-insurance services through the proprietary Sherwood facility, e-Sher Underwriting Managers, and TruSecure’s solutions which protect companies from the changing risk of doing business on the Internet. e-Sher’s typical insureds are companies with any type of Internet or intranet exposure. These companies face potential risks ranging from hacker attacks and the transmission of computer viruses to failure of an ISP or cyber-slander and libel.
Sherwood Insurance Services is a subsidiary of Aon Corporation and has offices in Irvine, Woodland Hills, San Francisco, Sacramento and Seattle. TruSecure Corporation, formerly ISCA.net, is in Internet security assurance. The company works to ensure a secure Internet economy through its three integrated business units: TruSecure, ICSA Labs and the TruSecure Media Group.
