Arizona has awarded State National Specialty Insurance Co. a certificate of authority for writing multiple lines of insurance. This authorization allows State National Specialty to write casualty, marine and transportation, property and vehicle insurance in the state.
Since its acquisition by State National Companies in March of 1999, State National has gained authorization to conduct business in six additional states. This expands company operations to 27 states.
Through an affiliate carrier, State National Companies has had a presence in Arizona since 1991. Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, State National has three affiliate insurance companies including State National Specialty Insurance Co., State National Insurance Co. and Texas-based State and County Mutual Fire Insurance Co.
