After 76 years of delivering insurance solutions as Robert F. Driver Co. Inc., the company has announced its new name.
Ranked as the 29th largest insurance brokerage operation in the country, the San Diego-based company will now be known as Driver Alliant Insurance Services, reflecting a recent merger with Alliant Resources Group Inc.
“When the merger was announced in June 2001, our first priority was to assure loyal customers that our locally managed operations would continue to be staffed with excellent brokers and top-notch support staff,” Tom Corbett, CEO for Driver Alliant, said. “Our name change further reinforces the national reach and tremendous resources that Alliant can deliver and leaves us even better prepared to serve our customers.”
John Addeo, co-founder and CEO of Alliant Resources Group, added that together with Alliant, the company will become the premier specialty broker for the entire country.
The new Driver Alliant name will be reflected in all collateral materials and in the launch of a new Web site, www.driveralliant.com.
