California Insurance Commissioner Harry Low appointed two men to positions with the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau (WCIRB) Governing Committee.
Clifford Waldeck, of San Francisco, was appointed to fill a vacancy that expires in March 2003. Carl Dickerson, of Los Angeles, was appointed to a two-year term that will conclude in March of 2004.
Waldeck, president and owner of Waldeck’s Office Supplies, is a longtime small business owner and business advocate. He currently serves as president of the San Francisco Small Business Network.
Dickerson is president and owner of Dickerson Employee Benefits in Los Angeles and is recognized for his leaership role in addressing business and insurance issues. He is a member of the California Black Chamber of Commerce and has served as president of the Black Business Association.
