Concord, Calif.-based Advanced Risk Technologies Insurance Services (ART) announced the promotion of Michael Saverien as president. In this role, Saverien is charged with managing overall operations, with a focus in developing and expanding client service in California and other western states.
Saverien, formerly ART’s vice president, Sales, brings more than seven years of sales and marketing experience to his role as ART president. Prior to joining ART, Saverien worked at Cunningham Lindsey U.S., Inc., most recently as the senior regional western account executive. In this position, he was responsible for strategically responding to RFPs for the western United States, evaluating current and potential business and leading a variety of marketing activities.
“Michael’s extensive knowledge of the claims industry combined with his marketing and sales experience are exactly what we are looking for to help expand ART in the west coast,” said Mike Heffernan, president of ART’s parent company, Heffernan Group. “We are delighted to welcome him, and believe that his talents will be an immediate and noticeable asset to their clients as well as ART’s team.”
Prior to Cunningham Lindsey, Saverien worked for Superior National in the claims department. Saverien started his career at Kemper Insurance as a claims examiner.
