Walnut Creek, Calif.-based PMI announced that Jan Garrett-Walker has been named vice president, Product Development. She was formerly director, Structured Transactions and Capital Markets.
“Jan’s strong experience in the creation and delivery of a wide variety of increasingly complex traditional and structured mortgage insurance products will serve her well as she assumes her new responsibilities,” said PMI’s president and COO L. Stephen Smith.
Garrett-Walker joined PMI as a Marketing manager. She was named director, Structured Transactions in 1998, negotiating captives, LPMI, pool and bulk deliveries. Prior to joining PMI, she was a Secondary Market officer at First Nationwide Bank and assistant vice president, Product Development, at North American Mortgage.
