California-based Brown & Riding Insurance Services has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification. The achievement makes Brown & Riding the first wholesale insurance brokerage in the U.S. to obtain the internationally-recognized certification.
ISO 9001:2000 certification indicates that Brown & Riding (www.brownandriding.com) has met and continues to maintain stringent quality management standards as set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The ISO 9001 standard is a set of globally recognized requirements that provide guidelines for consistent, high-quality business practices.
“The ISO 9001 management system will help us to improve our service even more, by holding us accountable for identifying and addressing the issues which can sometimes hinder our commitment to delivering the highest quality of service toward which we continually strive to maintain and improve,” Chris Brown, president of Brown & Riding, commented.
