Joycette Casella Joins Western Security Surplus Brokers

Pasadena-based Western Security Surplus Insurance Brokers Inc. announced that Joycette A. Casella has joined as a broker. Casella will be responsible for producing new business opportunities in the commercial property and liability and the professional liability arenas. She will also be overseeing an already established book of business.

Casella began her career in 1988 at Johnson & Higgins in New York City and worked with that company for 10 years as a broker and assistant vice president. In 2001, she joined Willis, also in New York as a broker and vice president of their global practice. She had similar responsibilities at Marsh Risk & Insurance Services in Los Angeles from 2001 to 2003, where she expanded her experience to include a concentration on domestic exposures.

In her career Casella has been instrumental in producing new business, and she was heavily involved in the development of the “middle market division” within the international department of Johnson & Higgins.
