Barbara Zimmerman has joined IBA West as Membership Benefits vice president responsible for the research, development and management of IBA West Service Corporation programs and management of Membership Services. Zimmerman will report to IBA West CEO Clark Payan.
Before joining IBA West, Zimmerman was California Regional marketing manager for Employers Compensation Insurance Company.
“We are delighted to have Barbara on our team because of her strong program and marketing background as well as her long association with IBA West through our I-Comp program,” said Clark Payan, IBA West CEO.
Zimmerman began her career in insurance in1981 with Liberty Mutual. In 1984 Zimmerman worked at Pacific Compensation as claims supervisor. In 1987 she joined Fremont Compensation Insurance Company as a claims investigator and later worked in customer service and marketing. In 2002 she joined Employers Insurance Group as as the marketing manager for Southern California.
