South Gate insurance executive Phil Munguia has been honored as the “Agent of the Year” by the Indian Wells, Calif.-based Alliance of Insurance Agents and Brokers (the Alliance).
Munguia, who serves on the Alliance Board of Directors and as the Downey Local Meeting Chair, was bestowed the “Agent of the Year” due to his numerous contributions to the association, to his community and to his customers.
Munguia owns Best Deal Insurance, in South Gate, Calif. The agency provides auto, homeowners, renters, earthquake, commercial auto, business insurance, umbrella insurance, Mexico insurance and life products.
Convention Chair Barbera Jakubanis said, “When the Awards Committee sat down to discuss the nominees, one name kept coming up as the most qualified candidate in every category – Phil Munguia.”
