Carlos Delgado, CLU (Danmar Insurance Services, Riverside), has agreed to serve on the Alliance of Insurance Agents and Brokers’ board of directors.
Delgado, a 35-year industry veteran, began his insurance career in the life insurance arena with Mutual of New York in Florida. After several years with MONY, he joined Safeco’s life insurance team in California, starting as a life insurance representative. He was later promoted to Safeco’s divisional and regional life insurance manager. Delgado left Safeco to become Zenith’s Cal Farm vice president and then eventually joined the agency ranks with Hallmark Insurance Services in 1991 as part owner.
In 2004, Delgado and his son, Danny, left Hallmark and opened Danmar Insurance in Riverside, Calif.Today, they now have satellite offices in Menifee and Chino Hills, both in California.
Delgado is also serving on the Alliance’s commercial lines committee. Delgado attended Cal State Los Angeles, and he earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1983.
