JBL&K Risk Services, a Beecher Carlson company has added two new professionals in its Portland office.
Scott Moss joins as vice president/account executive and Cynthia Hilton will also serve as vice president/account executive. Beecher Carlson operates under the JBL&K Risk Services brand in the Northwest Region, following its merger with the company in May 2005.
Moss brings more than 20 years experience to JBL&K with specialized expertise in employee benefits and property/casualty for public sector clients. Prior to joining JBL&K, Moss served as the director of procurement, Risk Management and Property Services for the City of Vancouver, Wash. He was responsible for risk management, construction project management, contracting and property management. He has also held senior risk management positions at the Metro in Portland, Washington County in Hillsboro, Oregon, and the University of Utah and Medical Center.
Hilton brings more than 11 years risk management experience to JBL&K with specialized expertise in the construction, retail and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining JBL&K, Hilton served as assistant vice president/client executive at Willis of Oregon where she was responsible for program design, marketing and handling of commercial accounts with a focus in construction, retail and manufacturing. Before Willis, she served as a client manager at Marsh where she assisted in the design and implementation of alternative risk management programs. She began her career as an underwriter for Safeco Insurance Company focusing on large commercial accounts.
