Western Security Surplus’ Orange County, Calif., office and Shand Morahan will host a free seminar on “Writing Miscellaneous Professional Liability Insurance” on Oct. 19, 2006, for insurance agents and brokers.
Some of the issues that will be covered in the seminar include: which occupations are considered MPL; the legal foundations that drive the needs; examples of recent claims situations where coverage gaps exist between the CGL & MPL and how these could create an E&O situation.
The free seminar is being held at Irvine Hyatt Regency, 17900 Jamboree, Irvine, Calif., 92614. Registration, breakfast and networking begins at 8 a.m. The seminar starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. Continental breakfast will be available. Attendees who complete the entire course will earn three hours of CE credits from the California Department of Insurance.
To enroll, interested agents can contact Wendy Clinton at Western Security Surplus 714-220 9898 ext. 101. Registration is limited so WSS advises agents enroll soon.
