Timothy Chaix, president of Irvine, Calif.-based R.E. Chaix & Associates, announced that its commercial auto division has added Safeco as a new admitted market for California agents.

Eligible classes of business include but are not limited to: contractors (artisan & generals), hotels and motels, industrial/processing, institutional, mercantile, offices, restaurants, service industries and more. The company is looking to write private passenger vehicles, light and medium trucks, heavy and extra heavy trucks, local and intermediate radius (0-200 miles), and sand and gravel haulers.
