Axiom Specialty Insurance Services, Victorville, Calif., has a new market for residential roofers and plumbers available in California and Arizona. This is an admitted market writing residential/commercial roofers and plumbers on ISO Occurrence form. Tracts are acceptable up to no more than 75 homes. New ventures also are acceptable.
Policy limits are $1 million/$2 million/$2 mllion. Deductibles are $1,000 per claim, PD only. Minimum premium for plumbers is $1,000. Minimum premium for roofers is $5,000. Endorsements include A/I, waiver of subrogation, primary wording, per project agg. Coverage is being provided by an admitted carrier rated “B+”7 by A.M. Best.
Business is by appointment. Submissions should include ACRODS, a contractors questionnaire and three years of loss runs. If the risk is a new venture, include a signed no known loss letter and a brief bio of prior applicable experience.
