Farmers Honors Fire Prevention Week

Farmers is declaring the week of September 10-16, Wildfire Awareness Week to increase awareness of fire prevention. The company will kick off the week by presenting two checks: one to the California FireSafe Council Inc. in Sacramento for fire prevention activities, and the other to the Meadows FireSafe Council for brush clearance of homes of elderly disabled persons who live in the Altadena area in Los Angeles. The checks will be presented in Sacramento on Sept. 6 and in Los Angeles on Sept. 5 at 10:30 a.m.
