WKF&C Agency Inc. is expanding its presence in the west and opening a second California office. The office will be located in San Francisco and will be led by Dawn E. D’Onofrio, who has been hired as president/San Francisco. D’Onofrio will report directly to Tom Wilson in WKF&C’s New York headquarters.
D’Onofrio will oversee all marketing and underwriting activities for California and the western states including Arizona, Hawaii, Alaska, Utah, Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
D’Onofrio began her insurance career in 1989 with a regional wholesale operation. During the 15 years she spent with the firm, she developed a portfolio of experience ranging from underwriting, brokering, program management and sales management. She left in 2004 and her position at the time was vice president of underwriting and sales. D’Onofrio spent the next three years as the property and casualty manager for a national wholesaler serving California from her office in San Francisco.
