Aon Risk Services Names Johnson Resident Managing Director in Portland

Aon Risk Services, the retail brokerage and risk management arm of Aon Corp., appointed Peter Johnson resident managing director of the ARS office in Portland, Ore. upon the retirement of Douglas Stirling, effective Jan. 1, 2008. As resident managing director, Johnson will be the leader of the Aon Risk Services office in Portland and will be the principal liaison to the company’s national sales group.

Johnson has worked in the ARS Portland office for the past six years, most recently as the resident sales director. Prior to 2001, Peter led a client technology service for Aon. He has 14 years of insurance experience and local knowledge.

Stirling, who has been resident managing director of Portland for 20 years, will provide support during the transition. He has spent more than 28 years at Aon.
