The Alliance of Insurance Agents and Brokers based in Sacramento, Calif., will be collecting toys throughout the state to assist Infinity Insurance’s “Infinity Cares” seventh annual holiday toy drive.
Association President/CEO Joe Jimenez is encouraging the industry to bring unwrapped toys to one of the Alliance’s holiday gatherings being hosted throughout California. The toys will be delivered to Infinity Insurance.
Each year, Infinity selects a charity to donate the toys for needy children. This year, the toys collectedwill be given to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, as well as the Casa Hogar Santa Teresita girls’ orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. The 2006 “Infinity Cares” toy drive collected 2,000 toys for needy children.
“As business professionals, the Alliance and our member agents and brokers have a duty to give back to our community – especially during the holiday season,” Jimenez commented. “It is our responsibility to help those who are a little less fortunate and to try to brighten their season.”
