Aon Corporation has hired Scott Rons as assistant vice president, surety operations, for Aon Construction Services Group. Based in Denver, Rons will help enforce Aon Construction Services Group’s strategic commitment to grow its footprint in the state of Colorado.
Rons, 46, holds 20 years of construction underwriting experience. In his role as assistant vice president, he will use his underwriting skills and access to the underwriting market to assist Aon clients with market submissions. Rons was most recently employed as a senior account specialist with Safeco Surety, where he was responsible for expanding the company’s surety practice.
Aon Construction Services Group employs more than 540 employees dedicated to the construction industry in 25 offices across the country. Aon Corporation is a provider of global risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, human capital and management consulting, and specialty insurance underwriting.
