The Arizona Insurance Council (AIC) has elected new officers for 2008. AIC is a non-profit organization dedicated to consumer education and partnership building on behalf of property and casualty insurers in Arizona.
The AIC 2008 elected officers and the companies they represent are:
-Javier Rey, president of AIC, and vice president, operations for State Farm Insurance;
-Brett Clausen, vice president of AIC, and Auto Underwriting vice president for Farm Bureau Financial Services;
-Phil Houghton, treasurer of AIC, and district underwriter for Country Financial; and
-Kerry Hayden, secretary of AIC, and government affairs representative – AZ for Farmers Insurance Group.
In addition, Nicole Farr, who has been with AIC for two years as public relations assistant, has been promoted to manager, communications.
