Hub International Ltd. announced that Hub International of California Insurance Services Inc. (HUB California) acquired the assets of Nett & Champion Insurance Services, a Santa Barbara, Calif.-based agency specializing in employee benefit consulting and brokerage services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Nett & Champion team, including owners Gary Nett and Michael Champion, will join HUB California at its existing Santa Barbara office.
“The acquisition of Nett & Champion adds greater depth and breadth to the specialized practices that Hub international continues to build,” said HUB California President, Kirk Christ, noting Champion’s employee benefit plan selection and ongoing consulting and support services.
