Denver-based Cherry Creek Insurance has acquired Montana-based Hanes Hathaway Inc., a specialty agency that focuses on coverage and risk exposures for technology related firms.As part of the acquisition, Cherry Creek will add a range of middle-market technology clients, along with Hanes Hathaway Inc. founder Katie Casson Matthias.
Matthias, who brings more than 20 years experience in the insurance field, will specialize in the technology and entertainment industries.
Cherry Creek is now the fourth largest Colorado based, independent agency with sales exceeding $50 million.
Hanes Hathawayprovides technology firms with comprehensive commercial coverage (including but not limited to general liability, products liability, property, errors and omissions, business interruption protection, directors and officers liability, fiduciary, cargo and crime).
