Woodland Hills, Calif.-based C.M. Meiers Co. Inc. has named Greg Jones managing director for the production insurance division of CMM Entertainment, a division of C.M. Meiers Co. Inc.
A 28-year veteran of the insurance industry, Jones began his career in New York in 1977 with AIG. In 1983, he moved to Chubb Group of Insurance Companies entertainment division. In an effort to be closer to the mainstream film and television industry, Jones accepted a position with Albert G. Ruben in 1986. While there, he worked with several major independent production companies including Morgan Creek Productions, Lorimar Pictures and Viacom Productions. Jones was also responsible for all placements of errors and omissions insurance on productions emanating from Europe and Canada.
Jones joined CMM Entertainment in July, 2005 as vice president, production insurance.
