San Francisco-based Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. announced that James R. Allen has joined the company to focus on client consultation in the areas of business and individual life and disability insurance.
Allen has more than 35 years of consulting experience, helping executives and individuals plan for the future with deferred compensation plan designs, estate planning, financial planning and pre-retirement counseling. Prior to Woodruff-Sawyer, he
spent 21 years with Marsh (formerly Sedgwick Noble Lowndes), where he served in a similar role for individuals and executives at Fortune 500 companies and various-sized corporations. He
also has many years of experience in financial planning at Alexander & Alexander and as a personal agent.
