Orange, Calif.-based Heffernan Insurance Brokers has appointed George Reisch leader of its Brewers Choice practice. In this role, Reisch will be charged with new business development, focusing on property and casualty insurance for the brewing and distribution related industries.
Reisch joins Heffernan after majoring in finance at San Diego State University, and a career at a major insurance carrier in Southern California. Reisch’s family has a history in the brewing industry. His family operated Reisch Brewing Co. from 1849 to 1966, and his father, an award-winning 5th generation brewmaster, is active in the industry.
