Joe. You’re dye in the wool Republican. Strictly a staight party person. Montana is progressive, not regressive. I live in Montana and I like it as the Bill has stood for the last 25 years! We should all be Americans looking out for each other, but you’re a Republican. You are not a USA countryman. You’re a selfish Republican and not one who cares for the interest of all Americans.
Joe – PA is even more regressive. It has unisex rates for auto insurance and they’re not thinking about changing it. If they did, women would likely see decreases.
Ike – what about Joe’s comment makes him an evil republican? Why shouldn’t price reflect risk? If you pay out more or less based on sex, you should be able to charge a commensurate rate, right?
Im 17 so bear with me, ok?
Women have fought for equal rights for a long time and have only recently achieved this goal. But it is a well known fact that men are less mature ;) so they have a greater chance at crashing their cars.
And Ike? Your very rude. Maybe you should check your stank attitude before judging people, ok? Thanks
you can’t say it is well known fact that men are less mature because everyone has individual development as a teenager. Just because a statistic says so doesn’t make it entirely true, and if women truly fought for EQUAL rights, then an issue like this would’nt be such a hard thing to put in place, gender equality works for both sides, meaning if you want equality you’re gonna have to expect the parts of equality that you don’t like, equal rights isn’t just a buffet where you can pick and choose the things you want to get out of it.
Mrs. Black – this is not about women’s rights. Insurance companies don’t care if you can vote or make as much as a man. The goal of Insurance pricing is to charge the right premium to cover losses, expenses and make a little profit. It’s all about discriminating based on past experience. If men are less mature and crash their cars, the auto insurer wants to charge men more. If women have more or more complex health problems, health insurers want to charge them more. No one is trying to cheat you. We just want the right price for the risk.
I hadn’t realized that Montana was so regressive. What a tragedy those poor Montana’s have to live with – – -.

I thought it was a red state, not progressive?
Also, if it costs more in claims to insure a female, but men and women pay the same premium, then the males are footing the bill, right?
So shouldn’t feminists be angry? That’s sexism right? Cant women take care of themselves, don’t they want equal pay for equal work?
Or do they want men to support them forever.
I would suggest that if you really want to be EQUAL, you should pay your own way.
