Dean L. Middour, president and chief operating officer of Thoits Insurance, was named “Insurance Person of the Year” by the Golden Gate Chapter of the Society of Chartered & Property Casualty Underwriters Society, earlier this month.
The annual award is presented by the Golden Gate CPCU, whose primary goal is to further education and professionalism within the insurance industry.
As the only two-time winner of the award, first time in 2001, Middour has 41 years of insurance experience and has shared his expertise with Thoits since 2001.
