Wilson Elser Expands in Las Vegas with Five New Partners

Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP has expanded its office in Las Vegas with new partners Michael M. Edwards, Jennifer Willis Arledge, David S. Kahn, Jorge A. Ramirez and Sheri Thome. The new partners will join current partners Gloria Sturman and Kym Cushing to service national clients in Las Vegas and throughout the Southwest. The expansion also includes four new associates: Reuben H. Cawley, Sheryl Parker, Robert Schaffer and Dylan P. Todd.

Edwards focuses his practice on the defense and trial of product liability matters, environmental litigation/remediation, construction litigation, architects and engineers liability, all areas of tort litigation and employment issues. He has litigated matters in both Nevada and California involving issues dealing with product defects, design/construction defects, personal injury and general liability matters.

Arledge practices in the area of professional liability, with an emphasis on architects and engineers. She has also worked on personal injury, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases including product liability, premises liability, construction defect, toxic tort (mold and asbestos), and bankruptcy.

Kahn focuses his practice in the areas of complex litigation and large loss claims, commercial disputes, product liability, and the defense of design professionals. In addition, he has been involved in numerous personal injury, general liability, and construction defect matters.

Ramirez focuses his practice in the areas of general, design professional, contractor and surety liability. He is experienced in representing landscape designers, civil, structural and mechanical engineers, real estate agents/brokers and appraisers.

Thome is a litigator who focuses her practice in the areas of employment law and professional liability. She handles matters of harassment, discrimination and wage claims before the EEOC, the Nevada Equal Rights Commission, and all courts in Nevada and California.
