Novato, Calif.-based Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. is enhancing its Entertainment division with the addition of Jerid Schmickle, who specializes in assessing the risks of touring musical artists and their concert vendors.
Schmickle brings knowledge of the music and performed media segment. He has worked in sales at an agency and has built a successful music underwriting program. His passion for the music business comes from being an artist himself. This addition to the entertainment team gives Fireman’s Fund the opportunity to focus on growth in this important sector of the industry.
“Today Fireman’s Fund underwrites musical talent by concentrating on a relatively narrow niche of the overall industry,” said Joe Finnegan, vice president of the Entertainment division.
