Farmers Insurance Group of Companies asks its customers suffering damage or ordered to evacuate because of the widespread wildfires in Northern and Southern (Los Angeles County areas), to immediately contact Farmers’ 24 hour claims hotline at:
1-800-HelpPoint (1-800-435-7764) for immediate assistance.
Foremost Insurance Company customers are asked to contact the 24-hour claims hotline at: 1-800-527-3907.
“Our claims teams are spreading out throughout the fires in Northern and Southern California to help our customers with claims,” stated Farmers State Executive Directors: Kirk Tweedy, and Bill Matlock, Vice President and State Executive Director of Farmers Los Angeles State Office. “We have the resources in place to help our customers file claims quickly and easily,” they added.
The fire called the Station Fire, which is raging in the mountains north of Los Angeles, is said to threaten 12,500 homes. Two firefighters have been killed.
The fire in the Northern California town of Auburn, in Placer County, has destroyed dozens of homes and some businesses. A Farmers Customer Care Vehicle Claims center is set up and ready to assist Farmers customers at the Evacuation Center at Rock Creek Elementary School, 3050 Bell Road, in Auburn. The Red Cross and Salvation Army are at this location.
