New York-based WKF&C Agency Inc. has named Becky Weddle senior vice president in the company’s Southern California office in Woodland Hills. She will work closely with the Northern California office to bring the company’s product capabilities to the western states, and will handle both new and renewal business.
Weddle has more than 20 years experience in the industry. She began her career in the 1980s as an underwriting trainee at Sayre & Toso in Los Angeles. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for handling primary, excess and professional liability placements for casualty markets at Sherwood Insurance Services. When Sherwood merged with Swett & Crawford in the 1990s, Weddle managed their six in-house underwriting facilities including primary property and casualty, transportation and excess authorities. Most recently she was an independent property and casualty specialist developing a commercial property underwriting facility at NAS Insurance Services in Encino, Calif.
