The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research has awarded Valerie Clark, senior director or risk management at Quiznos with a Lance Ewing Scholarship. The scholarship is for attendance at any course offered by the Certified Risk Managers (CRM) Program.
Clarke has had more than20 years of experience in the insurance industry with 11 years specializing in risk management. She provides expertise in implementing corporate risk management programs, ERM planning, insider trading policies and procedures, operational safety compliance including policy implementation, and industry contract indemnification obligations with insurance. At Quiznos she is renovating the risk management programs for corporate and franchise operations. She is currently working on a health benefits program for franchise owners and managing large litigated claims.
Clarke’s selection was made by the Rocky Mountain RIMS Chapter. The Lance Ewing Scholarship was created to honor Mr. Ewing for his tireless efforts to help professionals understand the values of risk management and the continuing education that it requires.
