Liberty Northwest, a Liberty Mutual Agency Markets regional company, has announced a total retrospective rating adjustment of more than $1 million for Oregon members of the Liberty Premier Contractors Group (LPCG) workers’ compensation insurance program.
The rating adjustment reflects the participants’ safety performance during the policy year ending Oct. 1, 2009, and amounts to a total net group savings of 15 percent, which includes premium adjustments, tax savings and non-disabling medical reimbursements. Many participants also earned an additional 5 percent premium credit by maintaining a qualified alcohol and drug free workplace program during the policy period.
“These results demonstrate the commitment of LPCG members to make safety an essential element of their business practices,” said Julie Burnett, president and chief executive officer, Liberty Northwest.
