Reno, Nev.-based Employers announced that David Morton has been promoted to vice president of sales, strategic partnerships and alliances, and Stephen Hedglin has been promoted to vice president of business development for strategic partnerships and alliances.
In his new role, Morton will focus on driving and measuring partner performance, ensuring communication and managing issue resolution with partners. He joined the company in 2007 with a successful background in sales and marketing leadership roles for several payroll companies. Prior to joining Employers, he was a key member of a regional payroll company in Atlanta. He led the corporate marketing function providing branding, products, sales strategies and training across the organization. He also worked for Intuit and ADP.
In his new role, Hedglin will focus on prospective partnerships and identify, source, evaluate and initiate partnership opportunities with a variety of target companies including payroll providers, healthcare providers, retailers servicing small/medium businesses, small business associations and organizations, financial institutions, and banks and credit providers.
Hedglin joined Employers in 2008. He was a key member of a leading California insurance company, working in several areas including claims, underwriting, marketing and sales.
