CBIZ Employee Services, a division of CBIZ Inc., has added Mike Barberio as the vice president at the company’s Phoenix location. Barberio will focus his responsibilities on sales, management and recruiting new producers for the office, as well as provide consulting both internally and externally on self-funded medical plans.
Barberio, who has more than 27 years of experience in the insurance business industry, has an extensive understanding of group insurance and employee benefits, as well as marketing and business development strategies. He leaves his post as brokerage sales manager at Arizona Benefit Plans, where he partnered with independent insurance agents, brokers and consultants in selling a variety of employee benefit plans throughout Arizona, California and New Mexico.
At CBIZ Employee Services, Barberio aims to use his expertise to grow the firm’s reach within the Phoenix metro area.
Barberio has received numerous industry awards, including multiple Symetra Life Insurance “Conference of Champions” awards. He holds a resident Arizona life and health license as well as non-resident licenses in California, New Mexico and Nevada.
