The Association of California Insurance Companies (ACIC) has named Armand Feliciano vice president. He has 17 years of legal, regulatory and legislative advocacy experience in California. He will be responsible for government affairs outreach on personal lines issues and regulatory efforts in California.
Prior to joining ACIC, Feliciano managed regulatory advocacy efforts on managed care and quality issues as the associate director of medical & regulatory policy for the California Medical Association. Feliciano represented Anthem Blue Cross of California/WellPoint Inc. before the legislature as director of government relations. Previously, he served as a deputy legislative secretary for Gov. Gray Davis and as budget committee consultant and legislative assistant for Assemblywoman Denise Ducheny and Sen. Al Alquist. Feliciano gained his legal acumen as a deputy attorney general for the Department of Justice writing and arguing appellate briefs.
ACIC is an affiliate of the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) and represents more than 300 property/casualty insurance companies doing business in California.
