The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) has appointed Oregon Insurance Administrator Teresa D. Miller as a National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) representative on the NIPR board of directors.
“As we move forward on our efforts to simplify and enhance the producer licensing process, we’ll look to members like Teresa to provide valuable insight to bring our goals in line with state-based insurance regulation,” said NIPR Board President and Alaska Insurance Director Linda Hall.
Miller came to the Insurance Division as deputy administrator in July 2008 and was named administrator of the Division in July 2009. Miller is an attorney and served previously as legislative director for former governor Ted Kulongoski. Her background combines consumer protection and legislative experience.
