Kathleen Bragg-Pebley has joined Momentous Insurance Brokerage, of Van Nuys, Calif., as in-house counsel effective August 1, 2011.
She was previously a senior associate at Wilson Elser and has over a decade of legal experience.
At Momentous, Bragg-Pebley will aid in matters of compliance with applicable laws, protect legal rights and interests of the company, monitor day-to-day legal affairs, including real estate, intellectual property, contract negotiation, insurance claims and other business affairs.
Bragg-Pebley specializes in business and employment litigation, primarily in Title VII, sexual harassment, disability discrimination, EEOC investigations, and FMLA matters. Her business litigation experience includes corporate law, contract law and professional liability matters.
Bragg-Pebley also has experience as in-house counsel for a Lloyd’s of London syndicate, working as a claims adjuster and coverage counsel, handling property and professional liability claims throughout the United States, reviewing policy wording and developing defense and coverage counsel guidelines.
