Beazley has appointed Lindy Hardman to develop new business and broaden the company’s broker relationships on the west coast.
Hardman’s insurance experience comes from both the underwriting and broking businesses. He was recently regional vice president at Crum & Forster in Los Angeles, Calif., where he headed the company’s largest regional underwriting office. Prior to that he held senior positions at Zurich North America and Crump Group. He began his insurance career at Mission Insurance Co. in Los Angeles in 1978.
Based in Beazley’s Glendale, Calif. office, he will enhance awareness of the company’s underwriting appetite in the professional liability, management liability and commercial property markets in which it specializes.
United Kingdom-based Beazley plc (BEZ.L), is the parent company of specialist insurance businesses with operations in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia.
