San Mateo, Calif.-basedWorldwide Broker Network has expanded its membership to include associate members.
WBN membership has always been limited to property/casualty and employee benefits brokers, so the admission of non-brokers as associate members is a new development for the network.
“The addition of associate members takes the WBN to a higher level for our owners by bringing the tools and consulting services to those Insurance marketplaces around the world where this level of expertise may not yet exist,” said Diana Lipka, director of WBN member services
The new members are:
- John Kelly, CEO, Hanover Stone Partners, global risk management services;
- John Dempsey, CEO, Dempsey Partners, global forensic accounting services;
- James R. Woods, general counsel, Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, global insurance regulatory/ compliance services;
- John Wepler, CEO, Marsh Berry, global insurance brokerage/agency management and merger and acquisition services.
WBN is comprised of independent insurance brokers and employee benefits consultants, and has 522 offices worldwide in 85 countries, and generates premiums in excess of $28 billion.
