Island Insurance Company Ltd. named Cizette Sato assistant vice president of its underwriting services division.
Sato will continue to assist in the management of the company’s underwriting services division, where she is also responsible for the training and supervision of the company’s commercial lines underwriting staff.
Sato has nearly 35 years of insurance experience. Her experience includes personal and commercial lines underwriting positions with companies such as: Insurance Hawaii, Bishop Insurance, Hawaiian Insurance Company and CGU in Walnut Creek, Calif.
Founded in downtown Honolulu, Island Insurance holds a financial strength rating of “A” (Excellent) from A.M. Best Company.
