I agree that texting and drving do not mix and that the results in this instance were tragic. I also believe that pedestrians should stay off the road whenever possible. Where there are no sidewalks, pedestrians are supposed to walk on the side of the road that allows them to see oncoming traffic. Such a habit might have saved this young man’s life.
