Colorado’s long debates on marijuana regulation and driving high came to an end Tuesday, when the Senate voted on three pot measures they’ve been debating for months.
The Senate gave final approval to a stoned-driving bill they’d rejected in the past. The vote sends the marijuana blood driving standard to the governor, who has said he will sign it.
The Senate also gave preliminary approval to 25 percent taxes on recreational marijuana sales, with the final decision going to voters.
Finally, the Senate voted on a long regulatory bill that covers production and marketing guidelines. The debates set up the Colorado Legislature to finish marijuana regulations in time for final adjournment Wednesday.
