Capital Insurance Group has named John La Porta director of sales and marketing.
La Porta will work alongside the regional field executives to provide direction and support for the agency development managers across the Western U.S.
La Porta began his insurance career in 1996, and since he has held business development and management positions with various companies.
CIG manages personal, business and agriculture risks underwritten by its affiliate companies: California Capital Insurance Co.; Eagle West Insurance Co.; Nevada Capital Insurance Co.; and Monterey Insurance Co.
