Tornado damage at a Pike National Forest campground has crews clearing felled trees in a six-acre area.
KMGH-TV reported the Devil’s Head campground was hit by a tornado that the National Weather Service confirms touched down Tuesday afternoon.
Picnic grounds and the Fire Lookout Tower trail were also impacted.
The area is closed to the public until for notice while the damage is cleared.
