A 24-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to 28 fires set throughout the city of Fullerton, Calif., since September.
The Orange County Register reports that the woman was arrested after investigators found her trying to set fire to bushes under an electrical panel at an apartment complex in an area where many of the past fires had been set.
Authorities had been asking for the public’s help trying to find the culprit who was setting fire to garbage bins, mailboxes, bushes and a car. The woman who was arrested was identified as a suspect in the investigation before her arrest.
The suspect is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. Anyone with information about the fires is asked to call Fullerton police.
