Isn’t it funny how California can’t even afford to use its own contractor? I just hope they make them use California subs and supplies. Seems like we could use the corporate and personal income tax revenue generated from a project like that to achieve 20% discount so to speak! Not to mention the other insurance costs, etc. that would go to stimulate the economy here. That’s the California government for you. Never ran a business before loons!
I have two questions. One; isn’t it better that they are using a contractor that can offer the lowest price or best work regardless of location? Two; doesn’t the bulk of the money get spent in California anyway on materials and whatever local subcontractors they are sure to hire?
