Island Insurance, a Honolulu, Hawaii-based property and casualty (P/C) insurance carrier, appointed Daniel Lee as vice president, Commercial Lines.
Lee will oversee Island’s commercial insurance division, which includes commercial underwriting, commercial operations, risk control, premium audit and surety bonds.
Lee has nearly 15 years of insurance experience. Prior to joining Island Insurance he was casualty broker at CRC Group in Dallas, Texas, where he was responsible for building and maintaining a book of excess and surplus lines (E&S) business. His experience also includes industry manager for The Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut, and Middle Market Sales and Underwriting manager for The Hartford’s Dallas office.
